DESCRIPTION: In this painting, I’ve considered the lines and shapes to reflect our Covid world of science, fact, precision and management of the virus. Sunshine and Blue 1 is also about beauty in Nature - summer colours of sun, sky and sea. I dream of bright days at the beach, clear blue skies, warm sun and swimming in the sea with friends and family. The Australian summer has arrived! I’m inspired by such thoughts.

MATERIALS USED: Acrylic paints on stretched canvas. Unframed.  Outer frame is optional, but not needed - all the sides are painted as an extension of the picture. Please see side view in additional images.

SHIPPING: Economic, low carbon shipping in a heavy duty plastic tube. Packed well to prevent damage in transit. The packaging materials can be recycled.

OVERSIZED CANVAS: Larger than 120cm (48 inches) on the longest side, when packed. This is when the canvas artwork is on a timber frame, ready to hang and packed in a plywood box. Because it’s a big, heavy package, shipping charges are high, also carbon emissions are high.

INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS SHIPPING: Because this artwork is oversized, I take it off the stretcher frame and ship rolled in a tube.You then have a small package with a low shipping charge and low carbon emissions.                                                                                The painting will need re-stretching by your local picture framer.
